The Cheltenham franchise of Pet Carers is owned by business partners Sarah and Kate. They offer bespoke dog walking in Cheltenham, cat sitting, small animal visits, puppy visits, dog home boarding and small animal boarding all within the Cheltenham area. All services are tailored to your individual needs; no job is too big or too small. As long as you and your pets are happy, we are happy!

Sarah has successfully owned the Cheltenham franchise for the last 2 years. After working with Kate for the last year it quickly became apparent that the pair both share a love of animals and are dedicated to providing the highest level of care when they are being looked after by Pet Carers. With this great friendship and shared love of animals the obvious next step was to take the business forward as a partnership.

Sarah spent her life surrounded by a menagerie of furry friends; dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, a tortoise to mention a few. Sarah bred Guinea pigs for a number of years but is now following her passion for all things feline and is studying Feline Behaviour with COAPE (Centre of Applied Pet Ethology). Having passed both the ‘Think Cat’ and ‘Study cat’ courses with distinction, exploring the psychology of our feline friends, Sarah is furthering her studies into animal behaviour. Sarah is currently owned by 3 cats, JJ (a Maine Coon), Oscar and Belle(Ragdolls), Archie the Cocker Spaniel, Treacle and Allsort the Guinea pigs and Maverik and Mikayla the bunnies. Sarah really enjoys clicker training with Archie and the pair are inseparable, whenever you see Sarah you will undoubtably see Archie too!

Kate has lived all her life with some form of furry friend from German Shepherd dogs to fluffy bunnies. She has a great love of big dogs and currently has a German Shepherd/Husky cross and she is confident in handling and walking these strong willed dogs. She has many years of animal experience from dealing with horses to dealing with nibbling hamsters but her main love has always been the dogs. She has always been interested in learning as much as she can about the huge variety of dog breeds and each of their specific traits. Kate has a national diploma in animal management and is furthering her studies in dog behaviour with COAPE. Kate has many animals herself  2 dogs, Harley and Millie, 3 rabbits, Jack, Flo (Rex), and Gizmo (Dutch cross) and a Leopard Gecko called Dotty. When you see Kate out and about on her daily walks and visits, you will no doubt see her partner in crime Millie (although you will hear Millie before you see her!!!)

Dog walking in Cheltenham-depending on your dogs individual needs, can be part of a social group providing lots of enjoyment and stimulation for the dogs or an individual ‘one on one’ walk. Whether this be to the local park or a good run in the woods, dogs are guaranteed to have a great time and lots of fun with Pet Carers.

Whilst most cats are considered independent they are very territorial about their surrounding area and can get very stressed when in unfamiliar territory.
