Pet Carers Cheltenham franchisee Sarah Ferrie has spent her life surrounded by a menagerie of furry friends. Sarah offers dog walking services, dog home boarding and cat visits in the Cheltenham area.

Born in Banbury, some of Sarah's earliest memories are of her beloved cat Tabitha purring into her ear as she snuggled up next to her every night.

Growing up, Sarah lived all over the country, from Carlisle to Eastbourne, always with plenty of pets to keep her company. Two or three cats were the norm, alongside dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and a tortoise! Upon leaving home, Sarah owned two beloved rescue dogs - Lucy the Border Collie
and Barney the Collie cross. She also bred guinea pigs for a number of years.

When Barney passed away, Sarah decided the time was right for another cat in her life and started looking for a kitten. Upon seeing an advert for a Maine Coon/Persian cross kitten, Sarah was intrigued and did some research on the breed. A slow internet connection gradually revealed two gorgeous
lynx tip ears and Sarah was smitten before the picture even downloaded a nose!

Sarah currently shares her home with J (a Maine Coon), Oscar and Belle(Ragdolls), Archie the Cocker Spaniel and Eric and Bear the guinea pigs.  Sarah really enjoys clicker training with Archie and the pair are inseparable. Sarah is also fascinated by animal behaviour and is currently studying COAPE 'Think Cat' feline behaviour.

Sarah has spent the last thirteen years working for a small local company, where she has seen her career progress from folding leaflets to running the business and its sister company! She has now however decided that the time is right to follow her dream and work with animals. Sarah's Cheltenham dog walking service can be tailored to suit your dog's individual needs, encompassing on or off-lead walking and visits to local parks and green areas.

The Cheltenham dog home boarding service  Home Boarding ensures your dog can enjoy a relaxing break with one of our Host Families when you are on holiday. Sarah also offers pet visits Small Animal Visits in the Cheltenham area, looking after your cat, rabbit or other small pet whilst you are away.
